The Member of Parliament (MP) for the North Tongu constituency, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has made a donation to Matilda Tsinogo, a fire service person at Mankessim.
Mr. Ablakwa donated a laptop and GHS3,000 to her on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
The North Tongu legislator also gave a full scholarship to Madam Tsinogo’s daughter in her first year at a public university.
The firefighter (Madam Matilda Tsinogo’s) made waves last Tuesday, April 27, 2021, when as the only female and leader of an otherwise all-male team, they successfully saved the Mankessim market from total destruction to the amazement of onlookers.
Mr. Ablakwa said the honour Madam Matilda is to motivate her and her team as well as other workers to do more for the country.
He made this known on Twitter on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
