The body of a two-year-old baby has been retrieved from the rubble of the Church of Prosperity, whose uncompleted building at Akyem Batabi in the Eastern Region collapsed on about 60 worshipers last Tuesday.
Officials of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) retrieved the body in the early hours of Friday, October 23, our correspondent Yvonne Neequaye reported.
Two mangled vehicles were also found under the rubble, she said.
It is also gathered that the search and rescue operation with the use of machines has stopped as the rescue team has resorted to the use of sniffer dogs.
So far, the death toll is 22 with officials searching for more bodies.
