The former Member of Parliament (MP) for Banatama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Daniel Okyem Aboagye, has tragically passed on.
The former legislator, was said that have suffered a short illness, but tragically gave up the ghost the early hours of Saturday morning.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by the Majority Leader and MP for Suame, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, during an interview on Hello FM in Kumasi. The entire community of Banatama is now in mourning as they come to terms with the loss of their esteemed representative.
Daniel Okyem Aboagye, a successful businessman, served one term in Parliament and subsequently became a prominent spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on economic matters.
His expertise and contributions were highly valued, and he made significant contributions as a member of the Economic Committee during his tenure in Parliament.
