Suraya AliduOne of the flagbearer hopefuls of the governing New Patriotic Party, Mr. Kennedy Agyapong, has declared his readiness to stay in the race to leading the party all the way to the finish line.
According to Mr Agyapong, he does not have the intention of stepping down for anybody as he wants to go all the way to the natural conclusion of the impending election on November 4.
In a viral video shared on his X account, Mr Agyapong who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for Assin Central, also expressed displeasure over happenings in the superdelegates congress and said whatever happens post the upcoming delegates’ congress would be dependent on the conduct of the election.
“Coming together will depend on how we conduct this November 4 election, looking at the way they treated on the 26th last month (during the Super Delegates voting), I felt it wasn’t proper,” Mr. Agyapong remarked.
