Ghanaians have taken to the various social media sites to protest against the government of the current mismanagement of the country’s economy and the lack of social infrastructure making the lives of the people unbearable.
#FixTheCountry is currently trending as number one on micro blogging site Twitter but its seems most celebrities are not willing to take part of the trend to express their views on the state of the country.
The only two top celebrities who be far are involved in the trend is Ghanaian actress’ Andrea Owusu popularly known as Efia Odo and colleague Ms Lydia Forson who is best known for using her social media platforms as means of voicing out and criticizing the government on its wrong doings.
Efia Odo has then urged her fellow celebrities to join in the trend for the government to known that indeed the people are suffering and need their quick response.
She stated their fans support and promote them in the works which has made them who they are today and the only way the can pay their fans back is to let the government know their sufferings and dissatisfaction on its bad governance and policies.
Your fans are tired and they need your voices. When it’s time to promote your works you ask them to support, now it’s your turn to support them in this #FixTheCountry movement. The things going on in this country are affecting your fans and y’all decide to keep mute, OK
Efia Odo earlier revealed she is willing to lead a protest on the streets against the bad governance of the leaders of the country.
