The two parties have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote e-learning and strengthen foundational education across the country.

“Today marks just more than a formal agreement, it signals Ghana’s commitment to be at the forefront of Africa’s digital solution. Since 2005, E- learning Africa has been the continent premier platform for educational innovation on the continent,” Dr Apaak said.

He added that, “when we welcome delegates to Accra our national capital from the 3rd to the 5th June, 2026 for the 18th edition of E learning Africa, we will be showcasing not just our business capital, but our nation’s remarkable progress and transformation through initiatives like our Galop project and education planning through 2030.”

E-Learning Africa has been active on the continent for over two decades, working closely with governments to enhance digital learning systems.

Despite facing challenges like unreliable internet access and poor digital infrastructure, the organization continues to drive innovation in the education sector.

Leader of E-Learning Africa, Rebecca Stronyer, praised Ghana’s efforts in embracing digital education and emphasized the need for sustained collaboration.

“Ghana has a lot of achievements including supporting young starts ups. With the upcoming conference, we will be showcasing how Ghana has the E- learning infrastructure and we from E-learning Africa will be investing in it,” she said.

The agreement aims to build capacity and improve foundational learning outcomes, especially in underserved communities, through the use of modern digital tools.

As digital learning continues to evolve, this new partnership could play a vital role in shaping the future of education in Ghana.
