The veteran Journalist speaking on Pan African TV morning show today, has stated that the economy of Ghana has collapsed but people are going out singing praises onto the government that, everything is going on well but the deeper news is those who are suffering knows that the economy is collapsed but may not talk.
The famous journalist have disclosed that about 90% of our national revenue is being spent on a lot of depth services and other things that will make the economy very hard in the future if people are expecting it to be soft for them.
Kwesi Pratt Jnr in his analysis disclose that very soon Ghana cannot borrow again.
Discussing the issue he took a newspaper to back his fact, by stating that the business news analysts have hinted that government is ready to borrow over 5 billion dollars again which is Euro Bond.
He make a fund statement about the government that when the president was addressing the nation that Ghana is on course, rather they are going to borrow another money which is not there but he is trying to inform the people that money is there to build a stronger economy.
He asked that what is the basis of the exuberance in the state of the nation address of the president?
Kwesi Pratt Jnr hinted that the supplies of electricity Ghana is giving out is too high and our electricity is huge to demand as we should limit ourselves a bit.
He told the host that running economy in which all sectors of energy is in-debted aren’t we worried?
According to him, independent power producers are crying out for their monies but the government is silence on it while we can’t pay them.
He revealed that petrol price has been increased four times in three months which is mind blowing.
” I can see the danger approaching and the economy is collapsed on our head but people are beating their chest to praise the goverment and the people can no longer be deceived anymore” he added.
