AdubianewsThe Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has announced that intermittent rainfall and thunderstorm activity are expected across several parts of the country today, Monday, June 30, as dynamic weather patterns take shape.
According to GMet’s latest forecast, low cloud cover is currently spreading over coastal and near-coastal areas, resulting in slight rain or drizzle during the day. These conditions are likely to dominate through the afternoon, with occasional breaks of sunshine in between.
Further inland and across northern parts of Ghana, residents can expect variable cloudy skies with the potential for isolated thunderstorms or rain showers developing later this afternoon into the evening.
The agency highlighted that these atmospheric conditions are typical of the mid-year transitional season, which is known for its localized thunderstorms and shifting cloud systems.
As weather conditions continue to evolve, GMet is encouraging the public to remain updated via official channels, especially those in flood-prone or low-lying areas. Commuters and outdoor workers are also advised to plan accordingly to avoid being caught off guard by sudden downpours.
