AdubianewsGhana will proudly host the three-day Public Relations Conference and IPRA Golden World Awards Gala 2025 under the auspices of President John Dramani Mahama, himself a Fellow of the Institute of Public Relations (IPR), Ghana, and the Africa Public Relations Association (APRA).
Organised by IPR Ghana in partnership with the African Public Relations Association (APRA) and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the landmark event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1 to Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The conference will explore how strategic communication is evolving in response to global shifts, with a strong emphasis on:
Communicating Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Africa’s development
Employing effective communication in tackling Galamsey (illegal mining)
Addressing environmental sustainability and climate action
Through expert-led discussions, case studies, exhibitions, and cultural heritage tours, participants will gain practical tools to navigate Africa’s rapidly changing communication and technology landscape.
President John Dramani Mahama will deliver the keynote address as Special Guest of Honour. He will be joined by top Ghanaian leaders, including:
Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communications, Digital Technologies and Innovation
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communication
Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, Minister for Lands and Natural Resources
Ministers of Communication from other African nations will also participate, fostering continental dialogue on AI, innovation, and climate-responsive communication.

The event will conclude with the IPRA Golden World Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 7:15 p.m., hosted at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra.
This prestigious awards ceremony, taking place in Ghana for the first time, celebrates the world’s most outstanding PR campaigns and also marks the 70th anniversary of IPRA.
The international conference is open to AI experts, communication professionals, media practitioners, policymakers, academics, students, and development actors who share a passion for technology and the power of strategic communication to shape the future.
