In a post on his official Facebook wall, Felix Kwakye Ofosu indicated that John Dramani Mahama suffered to make Ghana better by resourcing state institutions to fight corruption.
He mentioned the decision to make the Auditor General step aside and now the special prosecutor, Mr. Martin Amidu by the Nana Addo led government, as poor move in the fight against corruption.
Mr. Felix Kwaakye Ofosu added that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, and his NPP have destroyed all the gains made by John Mahama and are now fighting corruption fighters.
He posted a bill board with a picture of Mr. Yaw Dumelovo with the inscription: “Your 4th reason to reject this government, independent state institutions, auditor general, security services, have all been attacked and manipulated, we must not tolerate any government that does this”.
Mr. Felix Kwaakye Ofosu noted that, if the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo led government are not kicked out of power, they will soon destroy everything in Ghana.
“If in his first term, a President can be this brazen in destroying state institutions in order to further his corruption, we can only imagine what they will do in a second term. Let us take the opportunity to change course, and not express regret in the years to come”.
Mr. Felix Kwaakye Ofosu wrote.
The post of Mr. Felix Kwaakye Ofosu comes few days after the special prosecutor, Mr. Martin Amidu resigned from his post over allegations of government interference. A claim the office of the president has since denied.
