A Nigerian motorcyclist has become the toast of netizens after his rare demonstration of honesty filtered the four corners of social media. The unnamed man reportedly returned a missing N700,000 (almost ₵10,500 ) to a businesswoman in Oghara, Delta State.
According to FocusNaija, the passenger had boarded the motorcycle to Oghareki market and while alighting from the bike, the money fell off.
The report says the motorcyclist noticed that something fell off, but before he could tell the woman about it, she hurriedly went into the market as that is where she was heading to. That notwithstanding, the man dashed to the market to search frantically for her until he finally found her,
The woman could not believe that such an honest person exists in Nigeria as she hugged him and thanked him profusely.
