According to him, he campaigned massively for the NPP and Nana Akufo Addo resulting in their victory in 2016. After the Elections, A Plus was given a well paid job at Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) but due to his loud mouth and character, he lost his Position which made him turn his back on the NPP.

“We wanted Change, we believe everything that was being said, we believe it was not right for John Mahama to run family and friend government. We believer that it was not right for John Mahama to have 87 ministers”.
“They were too many and now we come and we have more that that. We live in a country where NPP and NDC are the same and it is the fact even though they don’t want to hear”.
