Former NPP MP for Berekum West Constituency who doubled as a National executive Honorable Nkrabea Effah Darteh has explained why he has been away from the New Patriotic Party government since 2016 due to what happened on 5th December 2016.
He explained that, despite spending his time, energy and money in campaigning for Akufo Addo and NPP, he had a terrible accident two days to the voting Day ( 7th December 2016).
According to him, he was hospitalized and couldn’t do anything for weeks. Even during the inauguration of Akufo Addo on 7th January, 2017, he had to watch it on GTV at the hospital.
Due to that accident, he has been away from active politics and frontline activities of the NPP. That doesn’t mean he is no longer a member. He is still a member of the party despite not holding any pivotal position.
He Urged his fans to continue praying for him as he is still recuperating.
