I’ve resigned – Physically challenged Oti regional minister boldly confirms.

Newly appointed Regional Minister for Oti has officially spoken that he has resigned from his previous position in the NPP party as the Oti Regional secretary.

Honorable Maakubu was the Oti Regional secretary of the NPP. According to him, the resignation is to allow him to focus on his current position as Regional Minister.

His resignation is in line with the NPP constitution which spells out that an individual must resign from a current position before going for any further appointment.

This is because you can’t look inside a bottle with two eyes or serve two masters at a time. That will help you to focus on your current position. That means what Honorable Maakubu did was constitutional.

The Oti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic has received the resignation letter of Honorable Maakubu . Honorable Maakubu is the current physically challenged Oti Regional Minister.

His appointment was hailed because among all the current ministers of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, he is the only physically challenged.
