Kintampo North MCE Hon. Micheal Sarkodie Baffoe has been hailed by Nananom and the people of Kintampo for his remarkable achievements in developmental projects within the town and other surrounding villages since his appointment.
No MCE has performed better in the first term of any government since 1992 said by one of the Chiefs in the municipality and therefore encouraged the people to support every MCE who will be appointed after Sarkodie to continue the good legacy he will leave behind.
During this fight against the COVID-9 pandemic the MCE who doubles as the parliamentary candidate for the ruling party, NPP, has distributed veronica buckets, soap, hand sanitizers, nose masks and other materials to every community in the municipality and also ensuring that social distancing is practised in the crowded places in the municipality.
According to the MCE, the recent closure of one of the biggest food markets in the country which is popularly called Kintampo wednesday market is to ensure social distancing and protect the citizens from contacting the corona virus since the region is yet to record a single case.
