President John Dramani Mahama has sworn in 15 newly appointed Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Consul-Generals to represent Ghana across the globe. The ceremony, held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Jubilee House in Accra, forms part of the government’s strategy to deepen international partnerships and advance Ghana’s foreign policy agenda.
Addressing the new envoys, President Mahama urged them to demonstrate diligence, integrity, and patriotism in their service. He emphasized that Ghana’s diplomatic mission goes beyond protocol, highlighting the need to prioritize economic diplomacy, strengthen regional security, and ensure the welfare of Ghanaians living abroad.
