Broadcast Journalist with the Despite Media Group, Afia Pokuaa widely known as Vim Lady has predicted that in 2024, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win more seats in the Central Region.
According to her, by 2024, the numerous sins of the NPP will cause the people to vote massively against the party in the Central Region which has over the years been considered a swing region.
“The party is not two months old in its second term but has been embroiled in scandals. You have heard of the maths set scandal, the COVID-19 test at the airport and other matters arising, there are reports of people embezzling cash in the NPP. So by four years time, there will be a lot of sins in the NPP.
Also don’t forget that by the next two years Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo influence will diminish in the NPP and that is where Dr. Bawumia and the others will rise. 2024 is a game between Mahama and Bawumia but if NDC can bring Bagbin, he will give Mahama a run for his money in their primaries.”
She indicated that it will be unwise for the NDC to field a running mate from the Central Region because the sins of the NPP will win them the seat so they will need an individual from the Greater Region to complement the flagbearer.
