AdubianewsGhanaian singer Odakky Andy has opened up about his rollercoaster experience in the music industry, admitting that the overwhelming nature of fame, lack of support, and personal missteps contributed to his temporary disappearance from the limelight.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz with Doreen Avio, Andy revealed that the fame he encountered early in his career was too much to handle. He confessed that he wasn’t fully prepared for the pressure and expectations that came with the spotlight.
Andy also highlighted the absence of a strong support system during his rise, stating that not having many people around to guide and push him made the journey more difficult. The challenges he faced, he said, forced him to take a step back in order to learn and grow before making a return.
“I needed to learn and come back again,” he said, adding that in the process, he ended up stepping on a lot of toes, something he deeply regrets.
Despite the setbacks, Andy is far from giving up. He proudly shared that his resilient mindset has kept him going. “I have a don’t-give-up attitude,” he emphasized, as he prepares to relaunch his career with renewed focus and maturity.
Odakky Andy’s honest revelations are a reminder of the tough realities behind fame, and the power of growth and second chances.
