Award Winning media journalist Godsbrain Smart popularly known as captain smart has revealed that it’ s not only Ghanaians that are suffering but the first lady of Ghana madam Rebecca Akufo- Addo is also suffering.
He made this statement on Smart TV dated Thursday 20th May, 2021.
He was reacting to the economic hardship and the unprofessional behaviours of media houses, that has fallen on Ghanaians.
According to him everybody is feeling the heat including the first lady. He mentioned a couple of senior citizens who are also suffering due to the inability of the media to their job well.
Some names he mentioned were John Dramani Mahama, the former president of Ghana, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice- president of Ghana, madam Samira Bawumia, the 2nd lady of Ghana and finally Lordina Mahama, the former 1st lady of Ghana.
He revealed that all these people suffering are as a of the results of the unprofessionalism of the media houses in this country, he disclosed that the only way this sufferings can be minimised is when the media houses do their jobs right.
That is reporting only the truth and not covering up for politicians because their stomachs.
Lately, Captain smart has revealed that nothing is going stop him from saying the truth because, he wants Ghana to be a better place for all us.
That’ s such a bold decision and we congratulate him on that.
We are all entitled to free speech, and we will continue to speak about both opposition and the ruling government.
If any of them go wrong, noisy journalists and babies with sharp teeth do not have the sole responsibility to that, every Ghanaians can do same on social media.
