A storm is brewing in Boffourkrom, Bono Region, where a former Deputy Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and her daughter have issued a chilling ultimatum over what they describe as a betrayal by their own party.
Angered by the awarding of a school feeding contract to someone she claims is not even an indigene of the area, the former NDC executive is threatening to take matters beyond the physical.
In a symbolic display, she and her daughter prepared a crate of eggs, schnapps, and a machete, traditional items often associated with spiritual retribution in Ghanaian culture.
The visibly outraged woman did not hold back in her accusations, pointing fingers at the Bono Regional School Feeding Coordinator and other NDC officials, accusing them of dishonouring her loyalty to the party despite years of commitment and sacrifice.
According to her, the contract was given to Rose Ankamah, whom she claims has no roots in Boffourkrom. To her, it’s not just a matter of lost opportunity; it’s a deep insult.
She warned that if those responsible do not reverse the decision, she will invoke spiritual consequences, stressing that ancestral justice may be the only remedy left.
