Highly peeved youth of Tafo have launched their latest attack against an employee of a TV station owned by Hon Kennedy Agyapong-MP for Assin Central.
Kwaku Annan, program host at Net 2 TV according to the aggrieved youth and indigenes of the community has defamed their proud Chief Nana Agyen Frimpong.
The gave details during a press briefing which was held on Wednesday 19th May 2021 at the outskirt of Chief’s palace that the TV host made a false accusation that the Chief of Tafo requested an amount of 2 billion old Ghana Cedis from the MP for the area Hon Vincent Assafuah so as to endorse the person of his (MP) choice for the position of municipal Chief executive for the area.
According to the youth, the above allegation carries no iota of truth and above all defamatory in its content.
They have therefore given Kwaku Anan 42 hours to retract and apologize or face their wrath and that of the traditional leaders of Tafo community.
Leader for the group Israel Kwadwo Dabanka raised a strong defense that the Chief of Tafo is not a mean person to be toyed with.
“He is beyond that 2 billion old Ghana Cedis and our Chief is not the type who is hard pressed financially”
