The Member of Parliament (MP) for Bawku Central, Mahama Ayariga has revealed that Asiedu Nketia assured them he will take the responsibility of them approving Ken Ofori Atta as the Finance Minister.
Mahama Ayariga made this revelation on ‘BREAKFAST REVIEW’ on GHONE television today when he was justifying the reasons for approving Ken Ofori Atta as the Finance Minister.
“This is not about Asiedu Nketia trying to do damage control because in the deliberations this came up.
We asked that if we follow their decision and the rank and file comes at us, what will be the remedy? And Asiedu Nketia said that I am the General and when I command you to do something and you do it, I will take the responsibility.
So, it was a collective decision by the party’s hierarchy to approve Ken Ofori Atta.” – he revealed
According to him, Asiedu Nketia has given the reasons why they needed Ken Ofori Atta to be approved.
