She emphasized that while there have been adjustments, U.S. assistance to Ghana has not been completely cut and remains active.
Ambassador Palmer highlighted ongoing U.S. support in various sectors, including health, education, and economic development. She noted that the U.S. continues to fund programs aimed at improving public health infrastructure, enhancing educational opportunities, and fostering economic growth in Ghana.
Furthermore, she reiterated the United States’ commitment to supporting Ghana’s future eligibility for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) programs.
