President John Dramani Mahama will start his nationwide “Thank You” tour on Saturday, June 14, 2025, with a major rally in the Savannah Region.
The event will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Jakpa Palace forecourt in Damongo. It is aimed at thanking residents for their strong support during the 2024 general elections.
This tour allows President Mahama to meet with citizens, chiefs, and party supporters across the country. He will use the opportunity to share progress made so far and outline plans for the future.
During the rally, President Mahama will speak about national unity and his vision for inclusive development. He is also expected to highlight his commitment to building a stronger and fairer Ghana for all.
The President will use the tour to renew support for the 24-hour economy initiative. This policy is designed to boost job creation, expand the economy, and provide more opportunities, especially for young people.
Organizers expect hundreds of residents from across the region to attend the rally. The event will set the stage for similar engagements in other parts of the country.
