A leading Ghanaian private security company named Ojeyz Security Management Limited has honoured Private Solomon Asare Teye-Tsu of the Ghana Armed Forces for his remarkable display of integrity and patriotism while on duty at the Bibiani Gold Mine in the Western Region.

The 30-year-old soldier, who serves with the Department of Public Relations at Burma Camp in Accra, was deployed to the mine site last year when he encountered a group of artisanal illegal miners. The group allegedly offered him a large bribe in exchange for unauthorized access to restricted galamsey pits.

Rather than yielding to the inducement, Private Teye-Tsu chose to uphold his duty to protect state resources and the environment. He rejected the offer and apprehended the individuals involved, handing them over to law enforcement authorities for further action.

In recognition of this commendable act, Ojeyz Security Management Limited presented him with an Outstanding Staff Recognition Award, describing his actions as a model of ethical service and national loyalty.

Private Teye-Tsu, who hails from Odumase-Krobo, joined the Ghana Armed Forces in 2023. He is a former student of Manya Krobo Senior High School and King David College.

His actions have drawn praise not only from his employer but also from community leaders, who see him as a beacon of integrity in a climate where ethical standards are often compromised for financial gain.

Ojeyz Security Management Limited, which provides security services at the Bibiani Gold Mine, is known for protecting high-risk assets across Ghana, including government institutions, diplomatic missions, mining operations, and industrial sites.
