In a passionate statement, she claimed that the growing presence of foreign sex workers is affecting Ghanaian youth, especially young women who associate with them and eventually get drawn into the same activities.
She also highlighted the rise in skin bleaching among some Ghanaian women, attributing the trend to the influence of certain Nigerian counterparts.
Calling for government action, she appealed to immigration authorities and relevant agencies to tighten border control measures. She warned that failure to address the issue could pose serious risks to Ghana’s social values and internal security.
Her remarks come amid ongoing national debates about foreign influence, border security, and the impact of immigration on social cohesion in Ghana.
