Six persons, including a fetish priest and priestess have so far been arrested and are assisting in ongoing police investigation.

Information available to The Chronicle reveals that on December 4, 2024 Nelson Anyena, 24, got missing at about 19:00hours from Adidome.

On December 17, 2024, a report was made to the local Police and the case was subsequently forwarded to the Regional Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for further action.

Following intensive covert investigation coupled with police-civil cooperation, on June 30, 2025, the first three suspects were nabbed. Hey are Bedzo Courage aka Dzidefo, (25), Wisdom Hedidor, (31), and Augustina Fiawoyipe, (21).

The information from deepthroat source continued that the victim, Nelson Anyena was accused of befriending Augustina, a fetish priestess, who incidentally happened to be in a sexual relationship with Wisdom.

After he was killed at a distant location, his body was transported to the shrine, based in Blorkope, few meters from the main Adidome Township, on the Sogakope road.

The body was eventually sold to the fetish priest, Noah Gblor, 42, Yohanes Gblor, 27, and John Gblor, 40, for rituals at a price of GHS7,000.

The deceased’s head/neck, arms and legs/thighs were cut off and buried under the principal deity, while the trunk was also buried at an abandoned shrine on the same compound.

At the scene, which was thronged by a large crowd of curiosity driven persons only barred by crime scene tape, the police searched the rooms and discovered two more unknown human remains.

Our source, who pleaded anonymity, stated that Noah deity, InCharge of the deity, declined knowledge of how the two bodies got there. He, however, told the detectives that he inherited the shrine from his late father.
