The Safo family and the Kristo Asafo Church have confirmed the passing of Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo, a revered religious leader, innovator, and industrialist. He died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

In a statement, the family expressed their grief, describing Apostle Safo as “Ghana’s beloved man of God, the greatest technological icon, philanthropist, agriculturalist, and industrialist.”

Apostle Safo, widely celebrated as a trailblazer in Ghana’s technological and industrial space, was also admired for his philanthropic works and his role in advancing indigenous innovation through his Kantanka brand.

The family further described him as “a true genius, a beacon of hope for many, and a father to the fatherless.” The statement was signed by his daughter and former Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, who noted that funeral arrangements would be announced later. She also appealed to the public to respect the family’s privacy during this period of mourning.

Apostle Dr Kwadwo Safo leaves behind a remarkable legacy of faith, resilience, and a lifelong commitment to technology, agriculture, and community development.
