Captain Smart has questioned the whereabouts of Akosua Serwaa, the woman believed to be Daddy Lumba’s first wife, during the period when the legendary musician was reportedly battling a serious illness.
According to Captain Smart, Odo Broni, who was said to be Daddy Lumba’s partner in his later years, played a crucial role in taking care of the highlife icon before his passing.
“Where was Akosua Serwaa when Odo Broni was the one taking care of Daddy Lumba when he was seriously ill?” Captain Smart quizzed during his commentary on Onua TV.
He expressed admiration for Odo Broni, emphasizing her loyalty and selflessness during the musician’s difficult moments. “Even though Odo Broni was young, she stayed by Daddy Lumba’s side and took care of him until his last days,” he said.
Captain Smart further criticized Akosua Serwaa for allegedly laying claim to Daddy Lumba’s assets after his death despite being absent during his illness. He noted that love and loyalty, not age or title, reveal a person’s true commitment.
