Showboy discusses fallout with Kweku Smoke after Revival Concert incident

Ghanaian rapper, Showboy, has finally addressed his strained relationship with fellow artist Kweku Smoke, revealing that the two are no longer on good terms. In an interview with Jay Foley on 3Music, Showboy detailed what led to their fallout and how an on-stage misunderstanding during the Revival Concert ended their friendship.

According to the rapper, the issue began when his performance was abruptly interrupted because of the number of people who accompanied him on stage.

He clarified that it was never his intention to overcrowd the platform and emphasized that the stage manager and security should have handled the situation better instead of halting his performance.

Showboy further explained that he had no control over who joined him during his set and was disappointed that the incident was misinterpreted. He expressed frustration that his professionalism was questioned despite his efforts to contribute positively to the event.

The rapper also revealed that even after helping Kweku Smoke attract a crowd for the show, he received no acknowledgment or appreciation for his support. According to Showboy, the lack of gratitude deepened the rift between them, leaving him disappointed and unwilling to mend their relationship.
