Students of the Kwapong Nursing Training College in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo Region were thrown into a state of panic this morning following a fire outbreak on campus.
According to reports, thick smoke was seen billowing from one of the school’s facilities, prompting students and staff to flee for safety. The Ghana National Fire Service swiftly responded to the emergency and is currently on-site working to bring the situation under control.
At the moment, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and no casualties have been reported. Authorities are expected to commence investigations to determine the source of the blaze and assess the extent of the damage.
The incident has disrupted academic activities at the school, leaving many students shaken. Local residents have also gathered at the scene, offering support as firefighters battle to extinguish the flames.
