Ghanaian rapper Guru NKZ believes his experience serving as SRC president during his university days has equipped him with the skills and confidence to handle any leadership position in the future.
Reflecting on his leadership journey, the “Lapaz Toyota” hitmaker described his time in student politics as one of the most transformative periods of his life.
“Being given the opportunity to serve as the SRC president qualifies me for any leadership position in any role at all, and I believe I can serve flawlessly,” Guru noted.
He explained that leadership at the student level often serves as a strong foundation for greater responsibilities, adding that many individuals who once served as SRC executives have gone on to occupy significant government positions.
According to him, the exposure, management experience, and decision-making skills gained from student governance give former leaders a competitive advantage when they aim for higher offices.
Guru emphasized that leadership is not merely about titles but about the ability to serve effectively, inspire others, and create meaningful impact, values he continues to uphold both in his career and personal life.
