The Ghana Police Service has intensified efforts to curb armed robbery in the Greater Accra Region, leading to the arrest of three suspects believed to be behind a string of attacks across multiple communities.

The arrests were carried out by the Special Support Unit following intelligence linked to repeated robbery incidents in Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, and nearby areas. The suspects have been identified as Seth Noi Tetteh, popularly known as “Wonder,” along with Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman.

According to police sources, Seth Noi Tetteh was first apprehended on December 24, 2025, after he was picked up at the Atadeka Police Station in connection with several robbery cases reported within the enclave. His arrest provided a critical breakthrough in the ongoing investigations.

During interrogation, Seth Noi Tetteh confessed to participating in multiple robberies spanning Afienya, Atadeka, Apollonia, Spintex Road, Airport Residential Area, Community 18, Ashaiman, Mataheko, and Oyibi. He further revealed that he operated as part of a larger group, naming accomplices who were still at large.

Acting on the intelligence gathered, police operatives tracked the suspects to Kasoa Ofankor on December 26, 2025, where Selasie Emmanuel and Sulemana Osman were arrested at their hideout without incident.

A subsequent search of the residence led to the recovery of several weapons and ammunition, including one pump-action gun, one BB cartridge, one Bruni pistol, and three rounds of ammunition. These items have been secured as exhibits to aid further investigations.

All three suspects are currently in police custody, assisting investigators as efforts continue to dismantle the wider robbery network and apprehend all persons connected to the criminal activities.
