Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun has publicly apologised after his prophetic declaration regarding the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries failed to come to pass.

In a statement titled “Public Statement & Apology,” the prophet admitted that his prediction that Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong would win the NPP primaries and emerge as the party’s flagbearer was incorrect. He openly acknowledged the error and expressed remorse for the outcome.

“That word did not come to pass. I missed it. I was wrong, I am deeply sorry, and I ask for your forgiveness,” he stated.

Prophet Nelson-Eshun explained that he had delivered the prophecy publicly through multiple platforms, including a book, videos and media interviews. He noted that he spoke with what he described as prophetic authority, which led many people to place confidence in the declaration.

According to him, the failed prophecy had emotional, spiritual and political consequences, particularly for individuals who made decisions based on his pronouncement.

“I take full responsibility for this prophetic word,” he said, stressing that he was neither shifting blame nor offering excuses for the prophecy not materialising.

The prophet concluded by accepting accountability for the impact of his declaration and reaffirmed his apology to those affected.
