Head Pastor of the Jesus Deliverance Miracle Church, Prophet Thomas Oppong has prophesied that Ghana’s coronavirus case count will reach 10,000 with 500 people dying of the disease if the President fails to allow Churches to meet again and pray for the country.
Speaking on Accra-based Neat FM, the prophet said God revealed to him in a dream that the country can only overcome this pandemic through fasting and prayers.
According to him, God’s direction to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is to allow churches to meet and pray against the pandemic which has killed at least 153,822 people worldwide as on Saturday, April 18, 2020.
“COVID-19 is a spiritual disease and will only go by prayer and fasting,” adding if this is not done “500 people will die and 10,000 infected” This is a message from God after seeking His face. It is true we do our individual prayers but the Bible says where two or three are gathered in His Name…,” he said.
He therefore called on the President to consider allowing the Church to meet once more and pray against the disease.
