The University Students Association of Ghana (USAG) led by the women commission has donated to traders of Abura market in the central region. The items donated were liquid soap, hand sanitizers and other items as their contribution towards the fight against COVID-19 in Ghana.
The women commissioner, Miss Dorothy Mensah speaking with Joseph Cobbina, said as University students it is our responsibility to contribute our quota towards the development of our nation, and in the midst of this pandemic, we decided to come and donate and have sensitisation program with our mothers in the market.
She then urged all students that they should adhere to the directives of hand washing with soap under running water, the use of hand sanitizer, nose masks and social distancing to avoid the spread of virus.

The leadership of Abura market led by Auntie Cecelia on behalf of the traders express their excitement and gratitude to USAG women’s commission for their kind gesture to them.
She therefore pledged to put into good use the donated items.
