FrimpongThe National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has threatened to demonstrate against Government over unpaid Student Loan Trust Fund(SLTF)
The Union explained that Out of 34,000 students registered under the Student Loan Trust Fund,20,000 students have not received their loans this semester.
“Today, Tuesday 2nd June ends the 5days optimatum given to the government to intervene but the leadership of NUGS have not heard anything officially from the Government”
Therefore, the Leadership of NUGS have declared their ALUTA intentions once again and they will be joined by thousands of students to match the streets of Accra to occupy the Jubilee House,the seats of Government to register their displeasure and seek immediate redress on a date yet to be communicated.
