Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency, Kennedy Agyapong has alleged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has hidden 1.5 votes in the old register.

There has been a heated debate on the need for a new voters’ register ahead of the 2020 general Elections with some parties opposing and others supporting the idea for the past few months.

Speaking on the need to compile the new voters’ register in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosiisen said the NDC has rigged the old voters’ register to favour them hence, the need for a new one.

According to him, the STL can not to be trusted and that is a reason why 2.5 million people voted against NDC in the 2016 general elections to quash the 1.5 million.

If you are saying Akuffo-Addo loss by over 100,000 or million votes, it means 2.5 million Ghanian voted against NDC because it quashes their 1.5 million the stole.

He  attributed the NDC’s fight against the new voters’ register as an acknowledgement of the loss they will make if it comes to be.

“Because we are not fools, we will clean the  register, in fact we will change it” They can burn Ghana if they want to”
