Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has called the bluff of former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yamin.
The NDC member sued Mr Agyapong to the tune of 95million for defamation when he accused him of being a ‘killer’ on live television.
Among other demands, the former Deputy Sports Minister through his lawyer, Evans Amankwah is asking the Accra High Court to grant damages of ¢95 million.
He is also asking for the allegation to be retracted, as well as an apology rendered on the same channel three times a day for a year.
But in reaction, Kennedy Agyapong described the suit as “laughable”, stating there was no way he will give 95 million Cedis to Yammin.
“Yamin you want to take my 95 million, you are a joker. I won’t give you 95 million cedis of my hard earned cash. Even when l shit, l make that money but you won’t have it. You sit there to insult me and later sue me for what exactly, you are a joke. You did galamsey for several years but couldn’t make 95 million but you want to get that from me. You are just funny. You won’t have that money so forget it ok.”
