The Greater Accra Regional Hospital known as the Ridge Hospital has denied media reports that the body of a Rwandan official who died at the facility has gone missing.
According to media reports, the high-profiled Rwandan who contracted the coronavirus disease is said to have died of complications from the virus in Ghana.
The deceased who is said to be a medical director in the East African country, died on Thursday, July 9.
The report added that some staff of the hospital are worried because, they could not trace the whereabouts of the body.
But in a statement, the hospital strongly dismissed the claims adding the body has been identified by the family of the deceased and released for burial.
