FrimpongThe Suame Municipal Chief Executive, Hon John Osei Bobei and the Member of parliament for Suame Municipality of the Ashanti region who doubled as the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs/ Majority Leader, Hon.Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu has cut sod for the construction of Storm Drains in Suame Constituency.
Hon MCE, John Osei Bobei Boahen given a welcome address said, the people of Suame Constituency should praise their member of Parliament for his hardwork to bring more developmental projects into the Constituency.
According to him, there is no Municipal Assembly or District (MDA) has been able to received more developmental projects such as : construction of Schools, Roads, Hospitals etc, then Suame Constitency under Nana Addo and their MP.
Speaking at the durbar, Hon Osei Gyei Mensah Bonsu said ,The government of Ghana has allocated a fund of 150 billion old Ghana cedis to construct some roads and storm drains in the Suame Municipality and is expected to be completed in the next six (6) months. The new Patriotic Party ( NPP ) have done a lot of work in the Suame constituency particularly constructing roads but there is a lot more to be done .
Some areas to benefit this programme are TARKWA MAAKRO- ANOMAYEN road. Kronum Aboahia -Kwapra road. and other areas.
Nana Adu Poku Boahen, the chief of TARKWA MAAKRO represented all the entire Chiefs in the constituency and shown gratitude to the government for such development coming to the people of Suame Municipality.
