The emerging news has it that the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has dragged the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong before the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service for threatening to harm him.
Our earlier report indicated that, Kennedy Agyapong during an interview on Asempa FM threatened to cause harm to the NDC communicator if he does stop heightening tension in the country.
“If he doesn’t stop fanning and calling for violence in this country, I’ll crush him. He’ll just be beaten for just three seconds and he’ll ease on himself…,” he warned in Twi.
Sammy Gyamfi reacting to the issue said the act of the honorable member is a big CRIME and wherefore should be taken on.
In furtherance, the NDC scribe says he is so disappointed in the media for given him such platform to threaten him.
Other report says Sammy Gyamfi had replied Kennedy Agyanpong dares him for his readiness to “fight” him boot for boot.
But the latest update detailed that: Sammy Gyamfi claimed he has since picked up intelligence that Ken Agyapong is planning to carry out his plot.
“Since making the said criminal threats on Asempa FM, our client has come by credible intelligence that show that indeed, Kennedy Agyapong has contracted some thugs to carry out the threats he issued on our client’s life…,” Lawyers for Sammy Gyamfi claimed in their petition to the CID.
