Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia says the Akufo-Addo administration has significantly reduced the hardship of Ghanaians.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM’s morning show ”Kokrokoo”, gave detailed information on the social interventions and initiatives of the incumbent government.

The Vice-President in his submission noted that though the Akufo-Addo led administration can not boast of eliminating the suffering of all the populace, government has been able to implement some policies to cushion Ghanaians.

Citing the government’s free SHS policy, stable electricity supply, the payment of teacher and nurses’ trainee allowances among others, Dr. Bawumia was optimistic the living conditions of Ghanaians will ultimately be better in the second term of the Akufo-Addo administration.

“We haven’t eliminated hardship but compared to what we inherited, we have reduced hardship tangibly,” he said.
