Popular Ghanaian music producer, David Kojo Kyei, well known as Kaywa, has been heavily criticized for a comment he made during an audition session of the 9th MTN Hitmaker Music Reality Show.
In a video available to Adwoaadubianews.com Kaywa, who is also an ordained pastor, looked unimpressed by a performance put up by a young lady from Cape Coast known as Elizabeth.
Elizabeth performed a song from Pat Thomas and Adina but the judges were not wowed with her performance.
Giving a remark on her performance, Kaywa stated that the lady did not prepare before coming for the audition.
He added that she was a bathroom singer.
Though Kaywa further said she will be a good singer if she gives herself some time and practices more, a section of Ghanaian social media users have chastised him on his comments.
Most of the people who commented on the video post on ZionFelix’s Instagram page pointed out how his comment was not the best.
These commentators believe the girl did well—and Kaywa’s remark will demotivate her.
