Telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana has given actress Salma Mumin a 24-hour ultimatum to apologize over an Instagram post.
The actress took to her verified Instagram page to allege that staff of MTN Ghana had stolen her GHC10,000 from her merchant mobile money account.
But MTN in a rejoinder posted on its verified Facebook page said the claims by Salma are “false and misleading to the public and the poster’s Instagram followers”.
The post added that “as @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo merchant wallet and no money had been taken from her MoMo merchant wallet as claimed”.
“She had been engaged on this leading to the apparent deletion of the said post.”

MTN Ghana is, therefore, demanding an apology from the actress.
It said in its statement that “the apology must state clearly that her claims that MTN Ghana had taken money from her wallet was false and given the same prominence as that of her initial post failing which the business will be compelled to take legal action against her.”
