Ghanaian musician MzVee, known in real life as Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, has recounted the story of her life from when she was born to the star that she is now.
According to her, she was born to humble parents who were struggling to make ends meet in Accra.
MzVee revealed that her mother used to sell food and her dad worked at Abossey Okai as a spare parts dealer.
She added that there were days that they had to go hungry so that she could eat and also revealed how they had to share a single room for 6 years as a family of 6.

According to her, things started picking for her father and gradually their story started changing.
With time, her childhood ambitions of singing also manifested big time and she managed to get her name on the lips of millions of people.
However, her career took a dip as a result of depression and she came to the point of quitting music.
But with a lot of support and encouragement she took from her difficult childhood days and the example set by her parents, she has bounced back on her feet.
