Firebrand Communications officer of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has shared his worries while speaking to Kumasi-based Kesben FM this morning.
According to the young legal practitioner who also doubles as the Communications Officer of the NDC party, there is a lot that needs to be done by the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, but she is simply not doing so.
He shared that public education that needs to go into the upcoming elections is not encouraging and this can lead to low turnout as we are some few days to the elections. This in the long run can lead to spoiling ballot papers, wrongly thumb printing among others.
The firebrand political figure shared that electoral education needs to go on and all this was captured by in the budget allocation for the elections but he is saddened by how things are being done by the currently Electoral Commission’s chairperson. He concluded by saying that this will definitely be the last term of the EC chairperson since her work is not being done the right way provided NDC wins power.
