Veteran actor Joseph Osei widely known as Wayoosi has shown appreciation to former President John Mahama for saving his life years ago.
“Former President John Dramani Mahama some years ago saved my life through the then Creative Arts Minister, Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare” he disclosed.
According to Wayoosi if not for the intervention of the former president he would have lost his life.
“I am grateful to John Dramani Mahama for the donations he made to me while I was on my sickbed,” he said.
He further indicated he is alive today because of former president John Dramani Mahama.
Wayoosi over the past few years was reported to be on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
President John Dramani Mahama is said to have donated an amount of GH¢5,000 to the actor through the Ministry of Tourism Culture and Creative Arts.
