A lady simply named @OlaideOluwo on Twitter has cried out that she was brutalized by soldiers alleged to be part of the Nigerian Army just because she failed to greet them.
Oluwo took to the microblogging platform on Wednesday night, November 25 to narrate how the incident happened. Some of her friends also corroborated her story.
According to them the incident happened around 5pm at Sangotedo, Ogun State. The victim said that she look at them until one of the soldiers flogged her with koboko- horse whip.
Oluwo tweeted;
“This happened to me around 5pm .I did nothing to these people ..I didn’t even look at them until one of them flogged me ! I was walking and this guy insulted me ran after me and then flogged me with koboko! When people confronted them they said it’s cuz I didn’t greet them”
@Lucy_anaa tweeted;
” My friend Olaide was brutally assaulted by the men of the Nigerian Army today in Songotedo because she refuse to greet them. “
As of the time of filing this report, the Nigerian Army is yet to respond to the allegations.
