Here’s Why the Bugatti La Voiture Noire Is regarded the World’s Most Expensive Car.

Bugatti, the Automotive brand that combines an artistic approach with superior technical innovations in the world of super sports cars, manufactured the world’s most expensive car owned by only one person, back in 2019.

Previously, it’s been reported that the one off Atlantic Tribute Bugatti creation cost the owner $12.5 million, but the mystery buyer actually ended up paying almost $19 million after taxes.

La Voiture Noire was built to celebrate Bugatti’s 110-year anniversary, as well as in an homage to the second of the four Type 57SCs the original “la Voiture Noire,” which literally translates to “the black car driven by Jean Bugatti himself as well as some of his grand prix driver buddies.
